Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time Market Retail Supervisor to join our team at Desert View in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Market Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and training retail team members and working to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures. What will you do?

• Supervise and train retail team members, and work to maintain retail standards, policies, and procedures.
• Assist retail management with the daily cash procedures and operations.
• Monitor store floor, assist with guests' needs and requests.
• Regularly evaluate, create, and maintain professional visual displays; provide direction to retail associates regarding store merchandising and displays.
• Ensure integrity of physical inventory and par levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the retail shops.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

More about you

• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience in a customer service or retail environment preferred.
• Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience working with point of sale (POS) system and cash handling required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Requires effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Constant standing, walking, squatting, lifting, some stair climbing, repetitive movements.
• Visual acuityto operate POS system, perform inventory, paperworkand reports.
