The Market Research Lead performs data analysis supporting learning plans via management and usage of consumer behavioral, demographic, and attitudinal data. The Market Research Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Market Research Lead uses data analytics to provide insights in support of new insights, translates results of analyses into actionable recommendations. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Perform data analysis on consumer behavioral, demographic, and attitudinal data to support learning plans.
Provide insights and translate analysis results into actionable recommendations for decision-makers.
Advise executives to develop functional, often segment-specific strategies on significant matters.
Exercise independent judgment on complex issues and work with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
Strong capability in statistical methods and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present findings effectively.
Familiarity with data analytics tools, CRM systems, and market intelligence platforms.
In-depth knowledge of market research methodologies, including qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Experience in analyzing pharmacy, PBM and payer industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer/patient behavior to inform strategic decisions.
Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals.
Proven experience in identifying growth opportunities and potential market risks.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey insights and recommendations to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Ability to create compelling presentations and reports that influence decision-making.
Understanding of commercial payer operations, healthcare regulations, and reimbursement models.
Ability to assess the financial implications of strategic decisions and market trends.
Familiarity with data analytics tools, CRM systems, and market intelligence platforms.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of direct experience
7 or more years of Marketing research experience
7 or more years of data analysis experience
Understanding and experience with a variety of research methodologies
Ability to write queries, create forms, reports and documents in Access and Excel
Project management experience
Experience communicating complex and functional strategies to senior management.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Master's degree or other graduate degree
Experience in the health insurance industry

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$126,300 - $173,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
