Job Description

Position Title: Market Property Manager

This is a day-to-day operations leadership role in which you will ensure Property Operation’s activities are aligned with the company’s financial and operational objectives. You'll leverage your leadership qualities to positively influence colleagues to embrace the Company's operating objectives.

What You’ll Do

You will lead a team to manage the commercial real estate and security operations for an assigned portfolio of properties. This includes financial responsibilities such as budget management and reporting, facility-level security-operations, customer relationship management, ad hoc project management and capital deployment while coordinating with other teams. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Partner internally to develop and implement the business plan and overall strategy for the property, focused on operational objectives, expense management, and performance-based property management strategies.
  • Ensure the accuracy of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, and monthly performance reports, including CAM recovery charges.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholder groups including accounting, HR, and customer operations, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all lease arrangements and requirements for the assigned region.
  • Oversee team relationships with customers, responding to requests and concerns.
  • Manage vendor programs and compliance, ensuring site-level projects and contracting requirements are met.
  • Assist in contract negotiations for vendor services and supervise as required, executing contracts within your financial authority.
  • Inspect properties during site visits, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Provide direction for your team, hold them accountable, and support their professional growth.

What You’ll Need

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or real estate from a recognized university; MBA or certifications like CPM or RPA are preferred.
  • At least 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate operations, including managing large portfolios, overseeing cross-functional operations, and fostering team development.
  • Experience in data center or technology-related real estate assets is preferred.
  • Strong financial skills, including analytics and performance management.
  • Knowledge of building infrastructure, security, construction management, mechanical, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Yardi is a plus.

Additional competencies include proven leadership, organizational skills, customer service orientation, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills.
