Job summary

Carvana is seeking a seasoned operations leader in the Market Operations area to oversee logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, and related registration paperwork. You will mentor staff, align with leadership, and guide multiple projects while maintaining a strong customer and employee experience.

You will manage a diverse team, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing priorities, with opportunities to grow within a fast-paced technology-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergrad institution.
• At least five years of relevant experience in team leadership roles managing multiple employees.
• Experience handling logistics.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity with resilience.
• Appreciation for differences of opinion.
• Skilled in managing employee and customer experience in messy situations.
• Ability to examine processes and develop creative solutions.

About Carvana

Customers can search through thousands of vehicles online, see full 360-degree views of both the interior and exterior of the vehicles before deciding to go through the purchasing process.Our Customer Advocates will then either deliver the purchased vehicle to our customer’s driveway using one of our kick-ass one car haulers, or they will meet our customers at one of our amazing coin-operated Vending Machines.

What you’ll be doing

Mom’s wear a lot of hats, they manage logistics, inventory quality, scheduling, registration paperwork,customer experience, employee experience, community outreach, and both mentoring and trainingprograms. It can be an autonomous job that requires good decision-making skills, but the growthpotential is tremendous and you’ll always have a direct link to leadership at Carvana’s home office inPhoenix. What you should have

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.

• An understanding that things will change. We need to know you are okay with that.

Other requirements

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• The ability to walk/stand and sustain physical activity for extended periods of time (8+ hours).
• Requires high and low levels of movement with the ability to reach with arms, twist, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and squat.
• Requires the grasping, carrying, lifting, pushing, and pulling of items up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent driving requires excellent visual activity and manual dexterity.
• Requires to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Must be able to stay in stationary positions for extended periods of time (when driving) up to 3 hours at a time.
• Frequently communicates with customers and must be able to exchange accurate information.
