Carvana is seeking a Team Lead for Market Operations in Tolleson to oversee the local hub, drive market launch, operations, and consumer branding. You will lead a high‑visibility team of Customer Advocates, shaping the customer journey and team development while partnering with upper management to ensure market success.

You will coach and develop staff, run performance check-ins, and optimize processes to exceed goals in a fast-paced startup atmosphere. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing team environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Proven history of developing and coaching employees.
• Experience with strategic planning, process improvement, guiding teams to exceed goals.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems with varying complexity while keeping customer experience in focus.
• Willingness to work on weekends.
• Enthusiasm and energy for a growing start-up atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Be a continuous positive force within the market and boost team morale.
• Interview, onboard and train Customer Advocates; provide tools and guidance for success.
• Develop and coach Advocates; set goals and provide feedback.
• Recognize team achievements using organizational tools and new methods.
• Generate and monitor regular reports for upper management.
• Be the go-to expert; support Advocates on the floor and deliver cars with top-notch customer experience.
• Drive production in a fast-paced customer service environment and maintain smooth market operations.
• Identify improvements to customer and Advocate experience.
• Address and resolve complex customer-facing issues.
