Imperial Irrigation District is seeking an analyst to support district system operations and market integration. You will analyze financials, reporting, and automated systems to ensure sustained performance in wholesale energy environments.
The role involves developing EDAM procedures, coordinating operational methods, and optimizing CAISO assets for reliability and economics, while interfacing with multiple departments.
Under general supervision, analysis and reports District system operations and operational integration into organized markets, ensures sustained performance and growth in current and future wholesale energy environments; develops and coordinates Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) operational procedures, optimizes assets for California Independent System Operator (CAISO) markets, and ensures reliability and economics; and interfaces with supporting departments and sections within the District. Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, computer science, engineering, data management or related degree and three years of increasingly responsible professional experience in financial analysis, accounting, reporting, and automated systems. Preferably with a utility.
