Job summary

Market of Choice in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a knowledgeable Beverage Manager to lead our wine, beer and specialty coffee departments. This role rewards a customer‑focused approach and product expertise.

You will manage inventory, pricing and merchandising, order products, and coach staff to meet sales goals. Experience with beer and wine is preferred, along with merchandising know‑how and strong service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently manage the wine, beer and specialty coffee departments.
• Conduct quarterly inventory and meet and exceed sales goals.

• Assisting customers in selection and recommendations.
• Keep current and continually expanding knowledge of beer, wine, and coffee.
• Organizing, stocking and facing Beverage Department.
• Checking in deliveries/ logging of all invoices daily.
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area, floor, spot mop, shelving, grinders, bins, signs and coolers.
• Prepare for a high-energy, team-oriented environment.

Market of Choice is now hiring for a knowledgeable Beverage Manager. This position starts at $28.00/hour up to $32.00/hour, depending on experience.
