Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic leader to supervise Customer Service Attendants. This role focuses on staff training, account oversight, and profitability guidance across multiple accounts in the Columbus area.

The supervisor will recruit, train, and develop team members, review inventory and waste, prepare reports, and travel to accounts using a company vehicle. A strong emphasis on safety and customer service is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the training and development of team members.
• Interviews applicants for Customer Service Attendant positions to maintain necessary staffing levels.
• Reviews inventory and waste levels of accounts and makes recommendations.
• Prepares Inventory Report Card evaluations reviews these with team members and takes necessary disciplinary action monthly.
• Completes monthly inventory action plans for team members.
• Generate reports for management to ensure profitability at accounts.
• Verifies and signs off on timecards.
• Visits accounts and meets with account representatives.
• Leads and assists on projects assigned by the Operations Manager or Branch Manager.
• Lifts carries or otherwise moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds while training and assisting at accounts.
• Walks bends crouches and climbs stairs.
• Operates and maintains company owned vehicle in a safe manner; to be used for the purpose of traveling to branches and accounts.
• Performs other duties as specified by management.

Requirements

• Inspects accounts weekly to ensure machines are clean filling and operating correctly
• Recruits trains and retains team members
• Develop succession plans
• Operates accounts within labor guidelines
• Maintains team member inventory percentages direct labor costs waste percentages inventory levels and consumption
• Attend weekly staff meetings
• Addresses customer inquiriescomplaints within 24 hours
• Following all safety requirements at accounts which may include personal protection equipment such as hard hats safety glasses ear protection etc
