A leading company in the spirits industry seeks a Market Manager in Seattle. You will be responsible for achieving sales goals, managing relationships with distributors and customers, and collaborating across functions to enhance business strategies. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader with extensive sales experience, ideally in the spirits or beverage sector.
As a Market Manager, you will deliver sales goals and objectives within your territory and channel which is Washington and Alaska. You will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization to develop and execute customer strategies and business plans. You will be driving the performance and growth of Bacardi’s brands through building long lasting relationships with our distributor and customers. Your strong communication, presentation, networking, and interpersonal skills will be key to your success in this role.
ABOUT YOU
You are an inspiring leader and owner of your market putting the customer and consumer at the heart of everything you do to achieve sales goals and objectives leaving a long-lasting impact. You are an important day-to-day face of Bacardi towards the distributors, customers, and agency partners in your dedicated territory and will act as the key contact for those customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable long-lasting relationships. RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible to deliver key commercial KPIs for your dedicated territory as determined by the Company’s state-level annual operating plan (AOP), working in concert with the State Manager to deliver against a segmented AOP for your channel
You are the day-to-day face representing Bacardi before distributors, customers and consumers in your dedicated territory and will act as the key contact for customers in that territory, driving new business and sustainable relationships.
Collaborate cross-functionally utilizing Bacardi resources and distributor partnerships to achieve maximize performance and sales efforts by achieving increased volumes while building long lasting business opportunities in your market and account universe
Develop and strengthen relationships with key customer accounts to develop customer strategies and plans that translate into “win/win” scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluating return on investments
Manage your budget effectively and efficiently by applying thoughtful financial decisions to increase profitability and demonstrating strong financial acumen with an understanding of retail finances, pricing, and logistics
Provide market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors
Collaboration and Coordination with Distributor, Advocacy Managers and Brand Marketing
Survey market to ensure distribution, pricing, POS, displays, programs and more are executed to standard
Responsible for reviewing overall market performance including Rate of Sale drivers, activations, executions
SKILLS
Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred or related years of experience
5+ years of sales experiences preferably in the spirits or beverage industry and 3+ years of on/off premise experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of the off-premise business, including retail national chains, regional chains, and independents, and the critical business factors that drive and impact those customers’ business decisions.

You are an influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will have opportunities to display excellent written and verbal communication skills while also being confident giving presentations in front of small groups of people including executives, Bacardi Primos, vendors and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization .
You are computer proficient working in MS Office Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and can use advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
Ability to travel up to 25%
The base salary range listed for this position is $83,844-$109,051 and the salary within the rangewill be determined by the successful candidate's location, experience, skillset and other relevant factors.
