Job summary

Wolverine Trading in Chicago, IL is seeking candidates to learn automated market making and take ownership of portions of the portfolio while solving a broad set of quantitative problems.

Successful candidates will rotate onto trading desks, develop pricing and micro-structure strategies, and participate in contained projects that build understanding of the financial markets and the firm’s automated systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytical/quantitative field such as statistics, economics, mathematics, or computer science.
• Programming experience is highly desirable and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Learn how to provide liquidity electronically and manage dynamic options exposures.
• Maximize market making revenues by tuning settings and processes.
• Conduct ad-hoc quantitative analyses in settings optimization, market microstructure research, performance metrics, and options pricing theory.
