Job description

Market Leader Trainee - Retail Sales

Are you looking for an exciting, fast-paced work environment where you will lead a group of 8-10 Area Leaders responsible for approximately 100-150 stores? The Market Leader assists and counsels Area Leaders and Store Operators (store managers and franchisees) to maximize sales and gross profit. This position is a key change agent in a dynamic, evolving business.

Qualifications:
  • Experience in staffing, training, and supervising Area Leaders
  • 5-10 years of related experience, including P&L responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Experience managing multiple units, including both company and franchise operations (small box: 100-150 stores; big box: 15-50 stores)
  • Strong retail merchandising experience, preferably in C-Store and foodservice industries
  • Ability to travel regionally with approximately 25% overnight travel
  • Willingness to relocate as needed
