Job summary

ASICS America Corporation seeks a Manager, Market Intelligence in Boston to lead business trend analysis and competitive intelligence across US categories, channels, retailers, and consumers. You will report to the Director, Strategy & Market Intelligence and guide data-driven decisions with clear insights.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, prior leadership of a team, and experience managing research projects. Travel approx.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent.
• 1-3 years experience managing direct reports or equivalent training/experience.
• 7-9 years experience in market research, corporate strategy, or management consulting.
• Proven track record of developing Excel-based tools and reports to analyze large data sets.
• Experience designing market research studies.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Circana, SPS Commerce, or other syndicated market research providers preferred.

A Brief Overview

The Manager, Market Intelligence is a thoughtful leader on business trends and competitive intelligence, responsible for identifying and analyzing key trends across categories, channels, retailers, and consumers in the U.S. Reporting to the Director, Strategy & Market Intelligence, this Boston-based role is highly collaborative, providing analytical insights to support data-driven decision‑making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, proven experience leading a team, managing research projects, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.

• Approximately 10% travel required.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training, required
• 1-3 years experience managing direct reports or equivalent training and experience required
• 7-9 years experience in market research, corporate strategy, or management consulting roles required
• Proven track record of developing Excel-based tools and reports to analyze large data sets required
• Experience designing market research studies required
• Advanced technical proficiency with Excel required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Experience with Circana, SPS Commerce, or other syndicated market research providers strongly preferred

SALARY / PAY RANGE: $100,000-$115,000
