Apply statistics, data validity, data visualization, data analytics, and problem solving approaches to effectively extract and analyze meaningful patterns and business insights. Develop, research, and leverage internal and external knowledge networks, including competitor’s product data, trends, and positioning to build a comprehensive view of the complex market. Identify department issues, problems and opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma tools and techniques. Analyze the information to develop strategic market insights and responses, propose projects and solutions, and appropriately allocate resources in order to maximize business value. Lead efforts to understand market drivers and historical behaviors to build segment-specific forecasts in support of the strategic planning process and other key initiatives. Utilize knowledge of regulatory frameworks driving clean technology adoption to track and interpret global policy trends impacting the energy transition. Provide insight into diesel displacement strategies in core markets, supply chain bottlenecks, and cost curves for emerging clean technologies by utilizing understanding of carbon pricing, emissions regulations, and fleet decarbonization policies.
