Responsibilities

A Keysight Market Intelligence Analyst accelerates and improves the quality of corporate strategic decisions by providing research, modeling, and analysis across Keysight’s industries, customers, and competitors. We work with partners across the company to facilitate and influence insights from the external market environment. Key contributions include Keysight’s strategic planning process, macroeconomic and geopolitical assessment, market modeling, growth opportunity assessments, executive and investor relations support, and ad hoc industry, customer and peer analysis. As the external environment continues to change, the job content is characterized as dynamic and thought-provoking.

Keysight SAM & TAM Market Scanning, Analysis and Modeling

• Provide a consistent framework and process for creating and updating market models. Identify and track market, competitive, econometric, and industry trends and drivers.
• Create thorough and objective financial models and projections
• Coordinate, and collaborate with internal industry and solution partners to create consistent models of Keysight’s chosen market segments

Macroeconomic, Industry, Customer, and Peer Analysis

• Provide quarterly reporting deliverables, including revenue narratives and market news to support earnings calls
• Research market segments, analyze technology trends and customer performance, and monitor and synthesize peer performance
• Provide market share performance analysis for Keysight and its key peers, including sub‑segment and regional analysis where available

Strategic Consulting

• Maintain always‑ready market and scenario trackers to support rapid, ad hoc requests from CEO and CSO leadership
• Deliver objective analysis of an opportunity space, including market and competitive dynamics, using Keysight standard strategy tools
• Identify attributes of a differentiated, sustainable business model, and facilitate value‑creation strategy development
• Deliver balanced scenario analysis and recommendations to an executive audience while documenting key findings and sources

Modernization of Tools and Processes

• Apply AI and automation (e.g., LLM‑based agents, automated data pipelines) to streamline research, data gathering, market modeling, and reporting workflows
• Use AI‑assisted analysis, visualization, and writing tools to elevate the impact and polish of executive deliverables

Qualifications

Expertise:

• Understanding growth drivers and dynamics in the automotive, energy, industrial, and semiconductor industries. Familiarity with wireless and wireline telecommunications and aerospace/defense industries.
• Knowledge of the economy, financial concepts, corporate accounting, and investor‑relations fluency
• Skilled in applying AI and automation tools to accelerate research, elevate deliverable quality, and safeguard data integrity
• Working knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals

Strategic:

• Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire an in-depth knowledge of customer, market, competitive, business, and technology situation and integrate it into strategies that deliver sustainable competitive advantage
• Demonstrated ability and experience networking with, and quickly mobilizing, key individuals inside and outside the organization to drive strategic dialog and decisions

Process:

• Demonstrated ability to create and facilitate processes across distributed organizations
• Able to triage ambiguous, time‑sensitive requests and deliver rigorous analysis on compressed timelines
• Skilled in analyzing and summarizing market research and using strategic frameworks
• Working proficiency with data and automation tools to build scalable, repeatable models and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Spotfire, Python, Salesforce)
• Must be able to effectively communicate orally and in writing on business, strategy, technical, product, and solution issues and tailor to all levels of organization

Santa Rosa, CA Pay Range: MIN $ 153,000.00 - MAX $ 255,000.00

Colorado Springs, CO Pay Range: MIN $ 141,000.00 - MAX $ 236,000.00
