Market Insights Manager

Purpose of the Role

Help shape the future of Paslode by driving our Customer Back Innovation (CBI) strategy. In this key role, you’ll dive deep into customer needs and market trends to uncover insights that fuel smarter decisions across marketing, product development, and sales. You’ll help us understand what contractors need, what’s happening in the market, and where we should go next.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Back Innovation – Develop the new product development roadmap, in collaboration with the Product Management team, to capitalize on key market opportunities and address core end user pain points.
  • End User Intimacy – Gain strong understanding of voice of customer through qualitative and quantitative market research that drive product strategy and development. Assist in development of detailed end‑user segmentation, personas, and profiles to deepen customer understanding and enhance end user‑focused decision‑making across the organization.
  • Market Landscape – You will have a full understanding of the market dynamics including customer and end user trends, competitive trends and actions and will drive market sizing efforts to ensure focus on addressable market, including the strengths and weaknesses of our competitors' products/brands.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting – Analyze large datasets from research projects, surveys, sales data, etc. to find trends and insights. Develop clear and concise communications, dashboards, and presentations to internal teams to communicate key findings and recommendations. Translate insights into quantified business cases.
  • Project Management – Manage research projects, coordinate report‑outs with cross‑functional teams, ensure research objectives are met on time and on budget.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or market research, statistics or comparable discipline.
  • 3+ years of market research, insights and innovation management, product development, or a comparable role with a demonstrated track record of using market research and end user insights to develop a product innovation roadmap.
  • Previous market research experience with a proven ability to develop and execute research plans.
  • Business acumen, an understanding of market trends, and ability to analyze research results and identify opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel or PowerBI.
  • Natural curiosity and interest in understanding end user behaviors, pains, and needs.
  • The ability to travel up to 30%.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or master’s degree.
  • Strong project management, communications, and presentation skills.

Compensation Information

Annual base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $135,000 plus annual performance bonus. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Company considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
