Wealthfront is seeking an experienced financial writer and/or editor (or audio reporter/producer with writing experience) to support the Vested Interest newsletter and related distribution channels.

The role involves creating a mix of short and long-form content in written and video formats, translating topics for social platforms from Substack to TikTok and YouTube, and collaborating with multiple teams across Wealthfront.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience writing and editing timely market/macroeconomic stories at top-tier outlets.
• Experience writing original, timely long-form content is required.
• Familiarity with investing and personal finance strategies and macroeconomic data.
• Audio, video, and/or social media experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor market and macroeconomic news daily and generate high‑quality, timely content ideas.
• Manage Vested Interest’s presence on social media for short/long-form video, audio, and written content.
• Partner with Lifecycle, Social Media and Creative teams to distribute content across channels.
• Evaluate content formats and distribution channels and recommend emphasis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to measure impact and improve outcomes.
