Qualifications

• No formal education required for this role.
• Six months or less of similar food service experience is preferred.
• Willingness to learn Hy-Vee policies and safety standards.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter.
• Take orders by phone and in person, assisting customers with product orders.
• Review daily orders and prepare or replenish products as needed.
• Ensure food safety and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Operate the department register and handle payments.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Assist in other store areas and support special projects.
