Hy-Vee Cedar Rapids Market Grille Clerk is a part-time role in a fast-paced store kitchen environment. You will greet customers, take orders, and ensure fresh, well-presented food while maintaining a clean, safe work area. You’ll work with others to deliver a great guest experience and support daily operations.

The position requires basic math, accuracy on invoices, and reliable attendance. Training is provided and team members collaborate to keep service friendly and efficient for every shopper.

Qualifications

• No formal education requirement; training provided.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience is preferred.
• Prior food service experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service at the Market Grille counter and greet customers with a smile.
• Take customer orders, answer calls, and review daily orders to ensure availability.
• Prepare and replenish products, review invoices, and maintain a clean, sanitary work area.
• Run the department register, handle payments, and make change when applicable.
• Assist in other store areas as needed and support store team to ensure customer satisfaction.
