Hy-Vee, Inc. in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Market Grille Clerk to deliver friendly, prompt service at the counter and help manage orders with accuracy.

• No education requirement; we will provide all the training you need to succeed.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; prior food service experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Take customer orders at the Market Grille counter and answer the telephone promptly.
• Review daily orders, anticipate product needs, and prepare/replenish food as necessary.
• Handle food safely and maintain a clean, sanitary work area throughout your shift.
• Run the department register, receive payment, and make change where applicable.
• Support team members and assist in other areas of the store as needed.
