Job summary

Zurich US is seeking a Market Facing Underwriting Trainee in Schaumburg for Summer 2027. This hands-on program develops underwriting skills for large and multinational organizations, focusing on relationship-building, analytical assessment, and guidance from senior mentors.

You’ll learn to negotiate coverage, evaluate exposures, and determine pricing and terms while building confidence and long-term value as an underwriter. Hybrid schedule supported by Zurich’s training framework.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a business-related bachelor's degree and on track to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027.
• Strong analytical and intercommunication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities
