Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a senior Market Director to drive growth and retention of assets within the Houston wirehouse channel, serving top advisor teams across Texas (Houston, Austin & San Antonio). You will manage territory, build pipelines, and execute plans with a 1:1 pairing to an internal sales executive.

The role requires deep product knowledge across fixed income and other asset classes, a strong track record selling to financial advisors, and leadership in a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Ten years related experience; eight years selling to financial advisors; five years prospecting wirehouse teams.
• FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensing compliance.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieves established sales and retention goals within Vanguard's Code of Ethics.
• Develops a strategic sales plan for the territory and target client segments.
• Effectively presents Vanguard's investment capabilities to prospects, clients, consultants, and industry orgs.
• Drives awareness of Vanguard's investment capabilities through targeted prospecting.
• Coaches, collaborates, and develops less tenured sales partners.
