Lifepoint Health is seeking a Market Director of Pharmacy for the Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital – Gilbert. You will lead departmental goals, oversee patient care delivery, information systems, budgeting, and audits to ensure compliance and high quality performance.

This role requires a Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred and AZ Pharmacist License; applicable experience may substitute. You’ll hire, orient, and develop staff, foster evidence-based practices, and maintain HIPAA

Dignity Health East Valley Rehabilitation Hospital - Gilbert rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

How You'll Contribute

A Market Director of Pharmacy who excels in this role:

• Develops and implements departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements/objectives of the organization.
• Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including patient care delivery, information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management, to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, and ensures that the department operates in compliance with allocated funding. Coordinates and directs internal/external audits.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.
• Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
• Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.
