As Market Development Engineer specializing in Interconnect parts, you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.

What will you be doing?
  1. You will specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated vertical.
  2. You will own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment.
  3. Conduct business strategy activities including total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning.
  4. Collaborate with the Business Unit on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market.
  5. Work with suppliers, product management, and other resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities.
  6. Create, gain approvals for, and execute comprehensive products and service offers.
  7. Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for business development.
  8. Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market.
  9. Contribute to marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs to increase market share and visibility.
  10. Lead Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities.
  11. Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.
  12. Participate in supplier web training for new products, releases, and promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies.
What are we looking for?
  1. Experience in the electronics industry or manufacturing in sales, engineering, marketing, or product management — must have.
  2. Experience in Interconnect parts.
  3. Experience in engineering and business strategy, including market & customer segmentation, competitive benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) — must have.
  4. Strong sales skills.
  5. Full driving license and readiness for business travel in EMEA — must have.
  6. Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  7. Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders.
  8. Proven track record in market/segment management or developing comprehensive solutions in a B2B industry.
  9. Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology.
  10. Leadership, collaboration, and team skills.
