Job summary

Hyatt Regency McCormick Place seeks a Market Attendant to service the grab-and-go coffee shop on the concourse level. You will prepare beverages and food items per menu standards and maintain a welcoming, clean guest environment.

This full-time position requires flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include health coverage and access to union-sponsored programs through Local 1, with room for growth within the Hyatt hospitality family.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to stand for upwards of 8 hours during duration of shift.
• Open availability required, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate amount of weight (Approximately around 25 pounds).
• Previous barista, and cashiering experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Market Attendant will provide service in the grab and go / coffee shop located on the concourse level of the hotel. The Market Attendant will prepare beverages and other food items in accordance with menu standards and provide a welcoming and clean environment for guests.
