Job summary

APEX Restaurant and Market Solutions is seeking a reliable Market Attendant to join our daytime team in Topeka, KS. You will greet customers, assist with kiosk transactions, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, inviting market environment.

Light food preparation and strict adherence to food safety guidelines are part of the role. Expect Monday through Friday daytime shifts with competitive medical benefits, PTO, and union perks.

Qualifications

• No degree required.
• Light food prep experience is required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed
• Support customers with kiosk transactions, when necessary
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented checkout and front-of-house area
• Assist with inventory management and restocking of market items
• Monitor product freshness and rotate stock as needed
• Provide support during deliveries and unloading of inventory
• Always follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Market Attendant to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring a positive and welcoming shopping experience by delivering excellent service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring the market is well-stocked and organized. Light food prep is required, so the ideal candidate must be comfortable working with food and following food safety practices. Work Monday through Friday daytime hours. No nights or weekends!!!
