Job summary

K. Hovnanian Companies, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Market Analyst to join the Corporate Land Team, supporting and expanding our market research efforts and delivering actionable insights for strategic decision‑making.

You will analyze real estate market trends, manage data from MLS and internal sources, build models and reports in Excel, GIS, and Power BI, and present findings to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of related experience.
• Experience analyzing real estate market trends.
• Proficiency in Excel; GIS/Power BI/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Market analysis of real estate markets, including trends, property values, and investment opportunities.
• Data Management: extract and analyze data from MLS, company databases, Zonda, and other sources.
• Technical Proficiency: develop data sets, create models, charts, and graphs for reports; proficient in Excel; GIS/Power BI/SQL exposure.
• Reporting: prepare and present reports on market conditions, trends, forecasts.
• Research: stay up to date with market developments and benchmarking.
• Collaboration: work with land acquisition teams, division leadership, and analysts; present to leadership.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Market Analyst to join our Corporate Land Team that can support and grow our market research efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analyzing real estate market trends and utilizing advanced reporting skills to interpret and present complex data. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of real estate metrics and a commitment to delivering accurate and actionable insights. Responsibilities

• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive analysis of real estate markets, including trends, property values, and investment opportunities. Provide insights into market conditions and forecasts.
• Data Management: Extract and analyze data from various sources, including the MLS, company databases, Zonda, and other external websites.
• Technical Proficiency: Develop and maintain complex data sets for analysis and reporting. Create detailed models, charts, and graphs to support market assessments and presentations. Must be proficient in Excel with exposure to GIS, Power BI, and SQL being beneficial.
• Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and summaries on market conditions, trends, and forecasts to stakeholders. Ensure all reports are accurate and delivered in a timely manner.
• Research: Stay up to date with market developments, economic factors, and industry trends. Conduct comparative market analysis and benchmarking to evaluate market performance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members including land acquisition teams, division leadership, and analysts to gather relevant data and provide insights. Must be comfortable presenting analysis to leadership.
• Problem-Solving: Address any discrepancies or anomalies in the data and develop solutions to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and 2-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
