Job summary

Lumira Search is partnering with a medtech start-up in neuromodulation to recruit a Reimbursement & Market Access Manager. The role drives patient access by shaping coverage and payer strategy, and collaborating with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams.

You will engage payers and hospital billing teams, support CPT/HCPCS coding, prior authorizations, and appeals, and help develop value messaging and health economics initiatives. Willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years in reimbursement or market access within neuromodulation medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, MACs, and commercial payer landscapes.
• Experience with CPT/HCPCS coding, prior authorizations, and appeals.
• Willingness to travel to physician practices, payer meetings, and conferences.
• Exposure to HEOR or value dossier development is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.

Lumira Search is partnered with a medtech start-up in neuromodulation. Our client has developed and commercialized an innovative neuromodulation therapy for the treatment of chronic pain.

We are seeking a highly-motivated Reimbursement & Market Access Manager to join the team and help drive patient access to the therapy. You’ll work cross-functionally with commercial, clinical, regulatory, and marketing teams, and engage directly with payers, physician practices, and hospital billing teams to remove barriers to adoption.

This role will broaden your horizons and give you the chance to wear multiple hats. You’d help shape coverage and payer strategy, support coding and billing guidance, and build out prior authorization and appeals processes. Experience will also be gained in developing value messaging, supporting health economics initiatives, and training the field team, along with many other interesting responsibilities.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years in reimbursement or market access within neuromodulation medical devices (experience, such as SCS, PNS or DRG, is highly preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of CMS, MACs, and commercial payer landscapes, including coverage policies and LCDs
• Experience with CPT/HCPCS coding, prior authorizations, and appeals
• Comfort working in a fast-paced start-up environment
• Exposure to HEOR or value dossier development is a plus
• Willingness to travel to physician practices, payer meetings, and conferences
