Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking an experienced training lead to own the Franklin shipyard training calendar, coordinate onboarding, and accelerate new-hire productivity.

You will tailor content with SMEs, deliver hands-on instruction for welders and fitters, ensure safety and compliance, track outcomes in the LMS, and collaborate with corporate L&D to refine programs.

U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required to support export-controlled activities in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aluminum welding, fitting, or related shipbuilding/heavy manufacturing trades in training/lead role.
• Certification in manufacturing, mariner, welding, and/or electrical.
• Ability to partner with subject matter experts to scope learning objectives and translate content into learning experiences.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the training calendar at the Franklin shipyard — scheduling, logistics, and materials.
• Lead onboarding to accelerate time to productivity.
• Identify skill gaps with leadership and translate into hands-on instruction.
• Adapt content for site conditions and ensure standard delivery across trades.
