Job summary

Enstructure's Port Wilmington site seeks a Security Officer (Union/Full-Time) to guard port facilities, manage patrols, and maintain a safe environment. The role requires teamwork, shift work, and overtime as needed.

The position works with US Coast Guard and other agencies, participates in the Teamsters union, and requires a High School diploma, a TWIC card, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must participate in Teamster Union.
• Valid TWIC Card Required.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.

Responsibilities

• Patrols Port Wilmington grounds to maintain traffic control, detect criminal violations, and detect safety hazards.
• Ensure the facility is provided with high-quality security services to protect people and property.
• Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
• Make frequent inspections of all Port facilities, including parking areas, offices, warehouses, piers, and rail areas.
• Works closely with the United States Coast Guard and Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies.
