Job summary

PACIFIC-GULF MARINE, based in the greater New Orleans area, seeks a Quality Safety Administrator to oversee ABS certified Safety, Quality & Environmental management systems. The role reports to the VP of Marine Operations and collaborates with corporate staff and shipboard officers to ensure professional, ethical adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience administering ISM Code and ISO management systems.
• Ability to manage and distribute management system documentation.
• Experience coordinating internal audits and training programs.

Responsibilities

• Administration of management system to ensure ISM Code, ISO 9001 & 14001 certification.
• Manage, maintain and distribute management system documentation.
• Monitor progress toward environmental targets and quality objectives.
• Maintain audit programs and document control systems.
• Provide training on management systems to shoreside and shipboard staff.
• Lead tabletop exercises and drills for emergency preparedness.
• Chair the Quality, Safety & Environmental Committee.
