Job summary

Foss Maritime Company LLC seeks a Marine Personnel Payroll Coordinator to manage payroll for mariners across the Foss fleet. You will ensure accurate, timely processing while complying with multiple collective bargaining agreements and company policies.

This role partners with Marine Personnel, Payroll, HR, Labor Relations, and operations to resolve issues and support a positive employee experience. The role emphasizes payroll accuracy, benefits coordination, and compliance with wage/hour

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of payroll or labor contract administration experience.
• Ability to interpret policies, contracts, and payroll rules.
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer payroll transactions for marine personnel and time records.
• Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreements for multiple units.
• Manage wage schedules, premiums, and incentive pay components.
• Prepare payroll and labor cost reports for management and audits.
• Support employee questions and maintain payroll documentation.
