Job summary

Saronic Technologies is seeking a Quality Engineer – Accuracy Control to support the building, integration, and testing of autonomous vessels. The role focuses on dimensional accuracy, alignment verification, and metrology data analysis to ensure compliance with engineering drawings and naval standards.

The ideal candidate will manage precision measurement procedures, work with laser trackers and total stations, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize vessel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 3–5 years quality engineering/metrology experience in shipbuilding or marine fabrication.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and shipyard tolerance standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dimensional control procedures for shipyard fabrication, assembly, and testing.
• Perform high-accuracy inspections and alignment verifications per drawings and standards.
• Use metrology equipment to establish vessel coordinate systems and control networks; inspect hull structures, machinery, and systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve dimensional control workflows and reduce rework.
