Job summary

Bluewater Maritime School in Jacksonville, FL seeks a proactive Maritime Instructor to deliver classroom and simulator-based courses, support operations and student engagement. You will teach navigation, seamanship, ATFP, ship security, and firefighting, while developing materials with the operations and education teams.

The ideal candidate has extensive sea service or a USCG Master’s license and proven instructional experience, with strong public speaking and computer skills to operate maritime

Qualifications

• Proven ability to teach diverse student bodies using adult learning principles.
• Experience with classroom and simulation-based instruction.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses per curriculum and maintain course materials.
• Instruct navigation, seamanship, ATFP, ship handling, and firefighting topics.
