Job summary

KBR is seeking a Combat Systems Training Facilitator / Technical Analyst in Newport, RI to lead maritime warfighting curriculum and hands-on training. You will operate advanced Navy training systems and coordinate briefs, mentoring officers for afloat roles.

The role emphasizes CIC operations experience, combat systems maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot and improve training realism. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required, with opportunities for career growth within KBR.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Associate's degree with 3+ years of experience or high school diploma with 7+ years of experience.
• Must have at-sea experience in relevant Combat Systems/C5I/CIC watchstanding roles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support the Maritime Warfighting curriculum and training for Officers afloat.
• Operate, align, and maintain the LCS Combat System Part Task Trainer for high fidelity training.
• Develop and manage training system programs to improve instructional effectiveness.
• Assist in testing and tech reviews to evaluate applicability for courses.
• Troubleshoot faults, write deficiency reports, and propose fixes for hardware/software.
• Operate a range of computer-based training and simulation consoles for officer development.
• Coordinate and conduct tactical briefs pre-watch and debriefs for training events.
• Support light-off and shutdown procedures and scenario development for training needs.
