Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a marine field and four years of professional-level vessel design or inspection experience.
• Four years of professional-level experience in maritime operations, environmental compliance, or related regulatory work.
• Two or more areas from Part A/B with related experience may satisfy the education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ballast water risk audits by identifying high risk vessel arrivals and assisting with compliance objectives.
• Develop and implement regulatory actions, including notices for penalties and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with US Coast Guard and state agencies to support vessel management and data analysis.
