Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Lead Quality Systems Engineer, Maritime, to own the end-to-end AS9100 QMS across the Maritime Division and to support initial certification efforts.

You will design multi-site QMS architecture, harmonize cross-site processes, lead audit readiness, and coordinate with corporate quality, site leadership, and production teams. This role requires AS9100 expertise and the ability to manage complex certification scopes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in quality management within aerospace, defense, or government-contract manufacturing.
• Direct experience managing or contributing to AS9100 certification and surveillance audits.
• Experience with multi-site or multi-scope quality management systems.
• Strong CAPA, internal auditing, and management review knowledge under AS9100.
• Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the Maritime Division’s AS9100 QMS, including documentation, internal audits, CAPA tracking, and management reviews.
• Design and implement a multi-site QMS structure for multiple sites and product lines.
• Coordinate third-party audits, customer reviews, and regulatory inspections; drive site readiness.
• Harmonize cross-site processes to meet AS9100 requirements while allowing site-specific procedures.
• Identify and mitigate QMS gaps and certification risks as sites/products expand.
• Own division-wide CAPA process; track nonconformances and verify corrective actions across sites.
• Develop quality training programs to raise awareness across sites and leaders.
• Collaborate with Corporate Quality, site leadership, and production teams to align QMS with operations.
