Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in marine, waterfront, structural, or geotechnical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• AutoCAD proficiency; Civil 3D/Revit nice to have.
• PE license preferred, or will obtain within 6 months of hiring.
• Strong knowledge of waterfront structures and coastal resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Manage project delivery from concept through construction.
• Oversee regulatory permitting and interface with public agencies.

About the Role

We're seeking a Marine/Waterfront Engineer to lead and support the design of critical shoreline infrastructure across the NYC region. You'll work on a variety of waterfront structures, including:

• Bulkheads & retaining walls, piers, platforms & docks
• Fender systems & marine foundations
• Flood resiliency and shoreline protection systems

No diving is required, this is a design role. This is a high-visibility role with opportunities to lead multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the strategic growth of a well-established firm's marine practice.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $170000.00/yr. Full competitive benefits package, 401k, generous PTO package, bonuses twice per year and training.
