Job summary

Sea Fox Boat Works in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking an Industrial Sewer / Seamstress to craft marine cushions and upholstery. You will measure, cut, sew and finish vinyl, leather and foam components to Sea Fox standards of comfort and durability.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial or home sewing experience and ability to pass a sewing test.
• Ability to read and create patterns.
• Experience working with leather, vinyl and foam materials; skilled cutting and finishing upholstery.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal communication and organization; team player in a fast-paced shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate industrial sewing machines and manage threads, bobbins and needles.
• Perform single-needle sewing, prepping, and joining operations.
• Create, trace, and cut patterns with precision.
• Inspect cushions and upholstery for defects and ensure quality.
• Fabricate, repair and replace marine upholstery components.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform additional upholstery and fabrication duties as assigned.
