Job summary

Brunswick in Minnesota is hiring a material assembler to cover aluminum and wood parts with carpet and vinyl using glue or stapling. You will move parts, apply adhesive, trim excess, and assemble hardware in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, basic math, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions. Expect to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; able to perform all essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow written and oral communication.
• Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Carry metal, wood and carpet pieces to and from workstations, 2–50 lbs.
• Apply glue to metal, wood and carpet pieces using an air gun.
• Adhere carpet to metal and wood, trim excess with scissors or utility knife.
• Staple carpet to wooden pieces with pneumatic stapler.
• Preassemble hardware with air rivet gun, bucker, or air drill.
• Operate wood router and carpet cutter; install frames by screws or adhesive.
• Sand and seal seats; maintain a clean work area; store parts properly.
