Enstructure | LOGISTEC in Houston seeks a General Manager to lead City Docks with full P&L ownership, driving safety, operations, and growth. You will steer strategy, build strong teams, and manage customer relationships with port authorities, regulators, and labor partners.

The role requires a seasoned leader with deep terminal operations knowledge, a finance-driven mindset, and a track record of delivering results in a unionized or labor-intensive setting.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in marine terminals or similarly complex industrial operations.
• Proven experience leading a significant operation with full P&L accountability.
• Strong knowledge of terminal operations, breakbulk, stevedoring, shipping, and port infra.
• Demonstrated success leading large, multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and commercial negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Experience in unionized or labor-intensive environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the terminal P&L, budget, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with objectives and market opportunities.
• Drive profitability through efficiency, cost discipline, and asset utilization.
• Identify risks and take proactive actions to protect performance and growth.
• Lead safe, efficient, reliable, and customer-focused terminal operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs across safety, productivity, service, quality, and CSAT.
• Optimize labor, equipment, capacity, and throughput; drive continuous improvement.
• Build trusted relationships with customers, shipping lines, and authorities.
• Collaborate with Commercial to identify new business and growth opportunities.
• Support contract negotiations and stay attuned to market dynamics.
• Lead labor relations and succession planning; collaborate with corporate teams.
