Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to travel to work locations within ~200 miles of Texas City, TX.
• Knowledge of USCG regulations and tankerman procedures preferred.
• Must be able to pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct barge transfers following MPC procedures and USCG guidance.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on barges.
• Operate heater on hot oil barges and manage transfer times.
• Maintain transfer records and equipment readiness.
• Train new Tankermen and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Interface with customers and uphold MPC policies and procedures.
• Participate in safety and training activities.
