Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• Manage a team of engineers and designers for waterfront structures projects.
• Oversee all project phases from preliminary design to construction plans.
• Develop and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Prepare proposals and review project documents for quality assurance.
• Supervise staff and assist senior management as a technical advisor.
• Develop new techniques and improve processes, materials, or products.
• Monitor and achieve project financial goals.
• Maintain client relationships and seek opportunities for further work.
• Work closely with the Practice Leader to grow client relationships.
• Prepare reports and project submittals.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections as necessary.
• Coordinate with the Project Assistant on project setup, billing, and closeout.
• Train and mentor staff.
• Perform fieldwork for conditions assessment and construction inspections.
• PE license is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required; Master's preferred.
• 7-12 years of professional experience.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Pre-employment drug screening required; background and motor vehicle checks may be necessary.
