Job summary

Audubon Nature Institute invites applications for a Stranding Intern with the Audubon Aquarium Rescue program. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Background check required
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Up-to-date Tetanus vaccine
• Positive attitude and ability to handle unpleasant situations
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to work around strong odors
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive

Responsibilities

• Assist with stranding response and beach surveys
• Participate in marine mammal and sea turtle necropsies
• Maintain records and assist with cleaning and vehicle maintenance
• Provide animal husbandry support; live rehab may be possible
• Contribute to daily operations as assigned
