Responsibilities

• Cut, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair wood structures and furnishings for marine vessels
• Assist in construction of floors, doors, partitions, and ladders using woodworking machines and hand tools
• Measure and cut materials to meet specifications; lay out and align material per plans
• Assist in installing sound dampening and ballast materials and in rigging for material movement
• Maintain daily work assignments and adhere to safety policies
