Job summary

Boater's World South Georgia in Albany, GA is seeking an experienced Marine Service Technician to diagnose problems, perform quality repairs, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will work on outboards, sterndrives, and inboard engines with access to factory training and certifications.

The role emphasizes hands-on diagnostics, engine rigging, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-growing Outdoor Network group.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of marine technician experience.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and fuel system concerns.
• Experience servicing outboard, sterndrive, and inboard boats.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain marine propulsion systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and major mechanical repairs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, steering, cooling, fuel, and hydraulic systems.
• Install and rig engines, controls, accessories, and marine systems.
• Complete repair orders and document all work performed.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and fellow technicians.
