Job summary

Bollinger Shipyards, Inc. is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Working Leader with 3+ years of maintenance and supervisory experience. You will establish maintenance schedules for each vessel, perform preventive maintenance, inspections, oil changes, and lubrication, and track equipment status to support reliable ship operations.

Candidates read blueprints and engineering logs, understand ship construction drawings, and uphold safety and lashing protocols. Navy/Coast Guard experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance and supervision.
• Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read engineering logs and ship drawings.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and implements maintenance schedules for each vessel to prevent breakdowns.
• Performs planned preventive maintenance on vessels.
• Executes inspections, oil changes, and lubrication tasks.
• Tracks equipment conditions and corrosion using Excel.
• Adheres to manuals and safety procedures in scheduling maintenance.
• Provides equipment condition reports to management.
