Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction in Washougal, WA, is seeking a Pile Buck to join our marine construction crew. You will assist with pile driving, rigging, crane operations, material handling, and related field work to safely and efficiently complete projects.

Ideal candidates have experience in pile driving or marine construction, ability to read basic plans, operate small boats, and work effectively as part of a crew in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Pile driving and marine construction experience preferred.
• Experience with rigging, crane operations, welding, carpentry or related construction activities preferred.
• Ability to read basic plans, drawings, measurements, and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform pile driving and marine construction work as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent.
• Prepare, rig, position, install, and remove concrete, steel pipe, H-pile, timber, and sheet piling.
• Assist with the setup, assembly, and operation of pile driving, crane, and hoisting equipment.
• Rig, receive, unload, move, and stage materials and equipment used in marine construction operations.
• Inspect tools, rigging, equipment, and work areas prior to use and report unsafe conditions.
