Job summary

Allen Marine Inc. is seeking Marine Mechanics to join our team in Sitka, Alaska. You will assist with the maintenance and repair of marine engines, machinery, and related equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels.

The role requires analytical thinking, dexterity, and the ability to work with hand and power tools. A valid First Aid/CPR cert, background check, and DOT drug test are required. Lifting up to 100 pounds and weekend work during tour season may be needed.

Qualifications

• Analytical skills and aptitude for problem-solving.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• First Aid/CPR certification (valid, unexpired).
• Must pass a security background check and DOT drug test.
• Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds and work on uneven surfaces.
• Ability to climb vertical ladders and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays during tour season.
