Qualifications

• Suzuki Certification preferred but not required.

Job description

Factory Direct Marine & RV has immediate full-time openings for Marine Mechanic/Boat Technician/Boat Mechanic. To be successful in this position, an attention to detail, positive attitude, ability to work efficiently and independently, and a strong work ethic are required.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect boats upon receipt
• Troubleshoot and repair boats for customers, dealer stock, and warranty
• Perform electrical and motor work for pre-delivery inspections
• Winterize boats
• Use computer systems to log work and record notes
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Follow procedures carefully
• Prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player

Knowledge/Skills:

• Knowledge of safety procedures
• Knowledge of outboard motors
• Electrical skills
• Suzuki Certification preferred but not required
