International Marine and Industrial Applicators, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Estimator in the Chesapeake/Portsmouth area to price labor and materials for internal fabrication projects and respond to customer requests with competitive quotes.

The role involves logging requests, developing quotes, obtaining subcontractor pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of estimates. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent, shop/fabrication experience, and strong Excel skills.

Formación

• Associates degree or equivalent education/experience in estimating/material planning.
• Shipboard trade experience with sheetmetal/structural drawings and installations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Submit RFQs to vendors for all material and calculate pricing for items in quotes.
• Submit RFQs to subcontractors for services to support quotes.
• Source costs and material availability with vendors.
• Follow directions and meet customer deadlines independently.
• Use Excel to compile information in templates.
• Communicate with vendors and customers verbally and in writing.
• Interface with IMIA team to perform estimating tasks.
